Interlude: we played

The past four days I have been blessed with my children. The dotter flew in from Alaska to help me with the arrangements and paper work that follow a death in the family; sson was still in AZ and changed his flights to spend time with me and his sister. The pair drove back to Sky Harbor early, early this morning and already I miss them a lot. I was pampered royally!

We did take time off this weekend to get away from the melancholy of the moment with visits to Granite Basin and Lynx Lake. I'll post photos later -- perhaps tonight or tomorrow.

And today, my computer returned home -- minus about a year's worth of photographs, my email address book, and bookmarks! On the other hand, the motherboard is new and on the Apple people. I will back up. I will back up. I will back up.

Bob has a bit of AWW about him.

The ice on Lynx sure is persistant--it was that way when I saw it in 1988.

Granny J, so happy to see you outdoors! I was in PV visiting my family over the weekend, and the days were gorgeous. Glad you got some fresh air. For your lost bookmarks, I have a suggestion: http://del.icio.us I use it to save all my bookmarks to their Web server. Then, I can access them from any computer anywhere in the world. It's free. Keep blogging...your fans need their daily "fix" of your wonderful adventures in Prescott. Hugs, ~Anon in AV.

Miss you too, mamasan. I really like that pic of you and me. The wanderings in the sunlight made returning to 20F and lots of snow kind of a bummer...

  10. ah well, dotter, the sun is being covered up with growing grey so that we can have our wee tot of snow tomorrow. Besides, I thought that +20 F was warm for Alaska at this time of the year! I'm so glad that we had sun for you!
