Send a rushing stream down a steep spillway; one of the results is a beautiful set of bubbles and of foam. These are pictures the dotter took on our day out Lynx Lake way; she had my camera and I must say she knows just the sorts of pictures that grab me! Note sson also at work.
The bottom of the falls: here's where the bubbles build up.
And foamier patterns made by eddies accumulate in a backwater.
Wonderful bubble baubles.
I really dig the patterns made by the swirling foam.
Nice pictures for a post.
ReplyDeleteSome dandy patterns in the froth and bubbles.
ReplyDeleteAs a sidelight, I wonder what percentage of them is courtesy of
P&G??

Lovely!
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking me, where I'd not go. For fear of falling. Since I gained weight, I don't feel "equal on my feet," and I have to be too careful of my footing... to go on such a beautiful walk.
Thank you.

Great photos!
ReplyDeletesteve -- I'll pass the compliments on to OmegaMom!
ReplyDeletebro -- you would have to bring up that subject, because, yes, there's a settlement upstream, though they are all on septic.
SnS -- Nor did I climb down that path; that's why the pix are by the dotter!
anon av -- so right!
dagny -- again, I'll pass your word on to the dotter!
Too wonderful to see the creeks and little rivers burbling along!
ReplyDeleteThe Ashfork day looks like great fun:)
brain -- isn't the water just wonderful! May it last well into the hot season. May all the reservoirs on all the rivers fill up!
ReplyDeleteAs for Ash Fork -- there are a lot of pictures yet to take! After we do the wildflowers, of course.
Wonderful photos!!
ReplyDeleteRe: New houses in our towns... Yes, we have loads and batches of those faux Victorians and etc. Some are cute but they aren't the 'real thing.' But they get plenty of money for them. Or _did_!
