The site: that unbuilt commercial corner across from the Willow Creek Walgreen's. As I bucked the winds today, I noticed a cloth barrier next the sidewalk; it was decorated with the shadows of assorted weeds. Mind you, I'm known for my fondness for weeds; they are wonderful photographic subjects. Here, in this nondescript vacant lot, the weeds cast shadows, certainly worth more than a glance or two.
One of these days, I'll invite you to my kitchen table macro studio for further weed studies. Wish us a tad of rain this weekend, will you please?

I note the absence of any any eliptical, five leaf silhouettes in the post.

Almost looks like a puppet show playing out.
ReplyDeleteLooks to me like a wonderful fabric print for a quilt!
ReplyDeleteI hope you got your rain!
anon av -- alas, we got our cold front but not a smidgen of moisture came with it!
ReplyDeletebro -- well, after all, this weed is less than knee high.
steve -- indeed it does
meggie -- some of those shadows look like embroidery, don't they. Nope, not a drop.
Lovely! Here's wishing you another chance at rain soon...
ReplyDeletelori -- welcome back! I think you're scheduled for the rain from Norbert, not us!
ReplyDeleteLooks like vine growing up something.
ReplyDeletecloudy -- yes, it does look like that, doesn't it.
