April Fool's hiatus?

A lot of people are turning their computers off tonight at midnight & not hitting the on button til Thursday, April 2. Meaning a lot of my usual visitors may be avoiding any hint of the April Fools' virus about which warnings abound. Gives me a chance to relax for a day. See ya!.

People shouldn't have a problem as long as they have their anti virus updated. Enjoy the fools day.

  2. As if today is the only day that the virus will request instructions... I don't get people sometimes, but hey; mass hysteria has its uses. :)

  3. The more fools they... some people believe anything, any time, anywhere... proper research and critical thinking are not being taught in the schools today - what a shame!

  6. I don't get it. If they have the virus today, they will have it tomorrow. Kind of like sticking your head in the sand. Just be pro-active and protect yourself at the outset.

  7. steve -- belt & suspenders, I suspect.

tombo -- Actually, some people I have a fair amount of trust in were worried about today. OTH, I have a Mac & it's "What, me worry?" time. So I took the day off. I should have run a pic of the Mad Magazine guy...

sandy -- I don't know. I was stuffed with a lot of content -- history, civics, math, old English lit. No critical thinking courses, not one. On the other hand, I am fairly critical.

jarart -- I enjoyed the evening without a batch of pictures to PhotoShop.

    ron -- nicely done!

qd -- apparently the idea is that a lot of computers are already infected -- but that this particular virusmeister likes to send out new instructions to all these computers on All Fool's Day.
