GrannyJ is recuperating from cataract surgery, ably assisted and being coddled by her visiting sson. Right now, she is kvetching about the special healing eyedrops, which apparently make everything quite blurry (including the computer screen).
To tide you all over, here's a lovely story from the Onion about how the melting ice caps are revealing hundreds of previously hidden Evil Lairs!
Let us hope that the new plastic lense will not louse up GJ's 'photo eye'. I trust that your plastic is as good as mine.

Get well soon Granny....
ReplyDeleteYou'll be so glad you had the surgery when you get over the inconvenience of the eye drops. You'll be looking at the world with a new clear eye.
ReplyDeleteSoon you will be as happy as my mom-in-law and aunt - both delighted to have clear vision again. Heal quickly!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for a speedy return to normal.
ReplyDeleteWishing you all the best for a smooth recovery and clear vision.
ReplyDeleteFeel better soon, GrannyJ, and enjoy the pampering from sson.
