These Chairs Are for Hanging

OK -- You explain this arrangement, which I spotted on a short neighborhood walk late this afternoon. Three wire chair frames; no seats. Up there in the pines, a short ladder length high. Decorative, I suppose. It would be too messy for paint drying.

I have no idea!

But it does look like something I might see, on my near-by college campus. Stuff which is sculpture, but I don't understand it. :-)))

So I guess, this is your neighbor's version of outdoor sculpture. Keep an eye out, for what he/she comes up with next!

Maybe she likes sitting high up in the air, watching birds fly by?

Thank you, SnS, Olivia and Brain, for all the suggestions. I had considered that the chairs might be seating for a gathering of woods sprites, but they'd fall through the un-seats! BTW, welcome Olivia! Do visit again.

Thanks for the welcome, granny j.
I certainly will be visiting regularly from now on. I find this website charming and witty.
I found you through Sue's blog, honey and vinegar.

Will you come to mine as well?
I have a bilingual blog (English/German), any comment in English is very welcome.

Olivia -- I've already added you to my road map! With your bilingual posts, I can actually brush up on my college German! Nice idea.

Ah-h the rare "chair-y" trees as opposed to the real cherry trees.

Hallo, Granny,

wie geht es Dir?

Would you like to answer me in German to brush up?
