Could it be from India?
I might be easier to understand the instructions in the foreign tongue the "English" instructions that come with an item.
When my wife gets home from Seattle Monday I bet she can tell you where that rug is from. She teaches Textile History at the local college.
Good luck with the air conditioner. Maybe you won't need some of our fog after all! :-)
Steve -- you may be right -- that could be a monkey!
lady -- yes, if they were in a language that used the Roman alphabet; however, my instructions were likely a translation from the Chinese, which is where the A/C was made.
ron -- be sure to have her take a look; I'm very curious!

"This is a particularly nice piece, not just a tourist piece."
ron -- thanks for the info; I thought it was an outstanding piece and quite unlike most such rugs on display hereabouts.
