Peter, Peter pumpkin eater...

Okay, so I said that I'd had it with Halloween. No more, I said. However, reviewing my picture folder I came across this unique approach to the classic Jack O'Lantern. Wow! How barbaric can you get? Peter, Peter pumpkin eater indeed! So Peter was a cannibal all those years (though the nannies always protected me from that knowledge.) Who'd ever have guessed it.

A very artistic rendering. Replace the small melon with a big black seegar and it would be a caracature of an evil capitalist.

I didn't carve a pumkin this year, but we had more kids than previously. Lots of little ones being taken around by the parents. Glad I bought some goodies and glad I have some left over.

That's a goodie. I love it. :)

I like that one too. We bought a plastic jack o'lantern with an electric light in it a few years ago so our pumpkin carving days are over.

I'm glad you decided to add one more Halloween picture because this one is worth it.

bro -- that may be what it's depicting anyhow...

changes -- yes, indeed.

steve -- what are the favorite costumes in Bavaria?

kate -- I was lucky to see it, over at the Sam Hill Warehouse for the Prescott College art auction.

cat-A -- it would be silly for me to take up pumpkin carving at this late age, so I make do with a handful of pictures.

jarart -- Isn't that a terrific pair of pumpkins?

GJ, I think I saw mostly witches on the little girls. Nothing stood out for the boys.

steve -- sounds like the German kids are in the early stage of the Halloween holiday mania.
