Want the latitude/longitude and topo quad name for major mines in Yavapai county? Brainy Geography is it for a quick search. Among the searchable features are canals ... airports (including airstrips) .. schools ... cemeteries... reservoirs. My guess is that a master database of place names on USGS topo maps is the basic resource for BG; in my humble opinion, the site could be greatly improved by incorporating Barnes' & Granger's Arizona Place Names (a favorite for casual random reading.)
